We believe our pastors are called to know their people, care for people, pray with people, and help them follow Jesus. We don't slip away to the green room after service, we meet you in the lobby and ask about your family!

Rhythm began with five people in Toney and Makayla's living room and a simple conviction: church should feel like a real community, not just a service people attend.

Toney's heart is to help people know Jesus, be known by name, and become devoted followers of Christ. He and Makayla love building a church where pastors know people's stories, families are cared for, and relationships matter.

Our Story

A church where names matter.

Rhythm officially launched on October 16, 2022 with twelve people in a school gym and a heart for Lexington. From the beginning, the dream was never to build a crowd where people could disappear.

We want to be a church where people know your name, pastors know your story, and relationships help you follow Jesus in real life. We are still young, still growing, and still convinced the best chapters are ahead.

Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God made available through Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith, not by earning our way to God.

God

There is one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is creator, sustainer, and ruler over all things.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose from the grave, and is the only way to the Father.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to follow Jesus, grow in holiness, use spiritual gifts, and live as witnesses in the world.

The Church is the body of Christ. We gather to worship, grow, pray, serve, and help people become devoted followers of Jesus.
